The Surge

The action in The Surge is carried out in a dystopic future, in which the Earth approaches the end of existence. Those who remain in overpopulated cities have to work to survive, because social programs are saturated by the aging population and environmental diseases that are multiplied.
Because of technological evolution over the years, many jobs occupied by people have been abolished, forcing them to head to suburbs in search of jobs, help exoskelts to improve their efficiency.
The world in The Surge presents a creepy vision of the future, when the evolution of technology, our society and its environment have led to the decay of human civilization. The Surge benefits from innovative fighting mechanics and an original character progression system, based on modular upgrades won during intense and visceral battles.
